Really like salsa but I cant see a 27.2 anywhere. Oh and I hate hope. Any suggestions. And no "stop being fussy" please.

Are you sure it's 27.2? that's normally the seatpost size, not the seat tube/clamp size.

Salsa make great clamps,

and as coatsey says, its unlikely to be 27.2

You probably need 30mm.

Salsas are great.

KCNC looks like a hope copy. Crap compared to salsa imo.

I've just spotted this thread and I am shocked. There are obviously two "The swede's" on here and one is an absolute dip stick who knows nothing about bikes n that.

I find On-one's 29.8mm version of the Salsa clamp better than the "real" 30mm Salsa

I always use the Salsa but they do get gouged up in nasty conditions. The Syntace superlock looks interesting as it seems to have some sort of bush between the two surfaces unlike the Salsa. The Tune Wurger also looks interesting as it runs on an internam cam rather than an external one. Salsa are the best looking though!

As a serial seatclamp wrecker, I can tell you for a fact that no aftermarket seatclamp is anywhere near as good as just about any O/E clamp that comes fitted to a bike (And I've tried them all. Those Woodman ones in particular are very poor)

I've got a Woodman and I'd agree, not up to much.

I've never had any problems with Salsa or Hope.

Clever swede here, not numpty swede. So are we all agreed that salsa are the most aesthetically pleasing seat clamp on the market.
