Wanted somewhere quiet and pretty, not to fussed about facilities.

Rosedale Abbey. Quiet, excellent facilities, two great pubs (and one average one) in the village, great riding from the campsite

Not a bad site that nbt

But unless they've moved it, it's on the North York Moors ๐Ÿ˜‰

Superb site, lovely setting on the banks of the Ribble at Stainforth, just outside Settle.

Very popular so book early.

Stainforth is great. We saw salmon jumping up the force there

The pub in the village across the river does good food too. Settle is one of my all time favourite little towns

Stainforth is good but last time I walked through 100s of chavs had decided to set up site next to the falls having BBQs and smoking herbal cigarettes and drinking beer. Spoiled it somewhat
