Let's see just how mad we could get in terms of a build cost then!

One little ground rule here -
nothing bespoke, custom or limited edition.

To kick us off, let's have some 5Rot shifters and mechs.

About £1500 or so.

So, what else goes on the crazy expensive build?

Sadly I think those mechs are hydraulic, although if they weren't, why not the Carbon Nokons?! £100, then stick some Power Cordz inner cables at £30!

[img] [/img]

THM Clavicula chainset? £680 without rings! Plus some of the Carbon-Ti rings as shown, that's another £500 or so!

[img] [/img]

Schmolke TLO bar, stem and seatpost, each about £300!

I've got some brass-plated CO2 canisters I can do you for 200 quid cash. Bottled in Greenland, they are the freshest air you can get.

Full ceramic bearings in the hubs, takes them beyond 190s easily!

White Aerolites are £5.40 each, so that's actually £345 on spokes!

Otherwise that build sounds good!

You could pay me to build it. Whatever the hourly rate it would cost a fortune as i have no idea what i'm doing with spanners and bikes. If i ever finished it someone would actually have to ride it, and no one actually rides bikes do they?

Even if I had the money I wouldn't build this bike!

🙁
I thought with the thread title you were going to single handedly pull the world out of recession by buying all the land that you don't already own.

****ing aristocracy nowadays, spineless gits the lot of you!

What it needs to finish it off is spraying with hammerite. Wouldn't want it getting nicked.

I just want to go to the davinci symbiosis tandem.

$7500 for the basic full sus plus
$3800 for the carbon frame
$3000 for titanium S&S couplers

And it would still merit upgraded wheels and fork and various other bits. could be pushing $20 000 by the time you are done

RaceFace Deus BB.
You have to replace them every month, so what could be more expensive than that 😉
