Are any of the light blingy ones worth trying it should I stick with Shimano?
They will be replacing the skewers which came with my Roval Controls on an Anthem, which seem neither light nor inspire confidence.
Stick.
Stick to Shimano XT...I do.
As above, Shimano. DT RWS are great as well, if a little different in concept.
Should have guessed the XTs would come recommended. Do the DT ones still break or have they improved?
The reason I ask is the tabs on Fox F100 have a very deep recess and so the qr require a lot of unwinding before you can drop the wheel anyway so in some ways I may as well have the supposed ratcheting clamping advantages of RWS.
The salsa ones are the only external cam type I'd use.
No problems with my Ti Hope Skewers. Bought them off here years ago and still going strong!
