tripod based -like a feedback/ultimate - so much steadier.
I have rotated my bike to all sorts of angles to get at the suspension - with the Minoura style (I gave my RS5000 away) you have to weight the legs just to have it remain steady when taking a wheel off.

i got the park wall mounted one off ebay from the states, works a treat

the ribble one is just like the one I gave away, except that the clamp isn't as good.
