Hi I currently own a set of reba's with black box and maxle lite. I was just wondering how the revelations compared to these? are they basically the same with more travel?

What about performance wise, do the revelations perform as well as the rebas?

I have Revs but haven't ridden Rebas, the 140mm travel is great on my Dialled PA ๐Ÿ˜€ Aren't they AM/XC respectively? Also what length forks does your frame suit?

Here's an old thread on it clicky

I had some 140mm twin air Rev's on a ti456, now I have some 100mm twin air Reba's and apart from the extra travel, they feel very similar.

Well im looking to get a 456 steel again and rode it with 120mm Rebas last time and found it lovely, but was wondering if I should go for revs this time with the extra options of travel...

If you can afford the better/more versatile fork, do it! U-turn Revs would probably be the answer to your quest. Then you get to have a 456 in each of it's guises.

I have a 456 with UTurn Revs and they work well together, previously ran an Inbred with Dual Air Rebas as has been said little difference apart from travel. I am selling the frame and possibly the forks too, would like a more XC orientated bike (the 456 and my Pitch are too similar in their abilities).

Just watch the older models of the revelations, I was one of a few it seems who had the '10 model "clunk and droop".

Basically took a hit, forks clunked and sagged to the bottom of their travel. Fixed under warranty with upgrade parts (according to Tftuned)

Ever since, outstanding set of forks, have them on an 09 stumpy and regularly adjust the travel to suit the riding.

I personally cant tell little difference between them and a set of reba race on a HT stumpy (at least nothing that suggests it's the forks causing the difference). There is some weight difference obviously.

I personally wouldn't think the swap warrants any cost outlay, unless it's the travel that's required.
