The "T" bit gives you tool free adjustment to the threshold. Its the kinda of thing you set once then forget about so not worth paying more.

Latest model RLs don't even have tooled threshold adjustment. Personally, I'd pay for it.

Weren't RL models OEM only a while back? Don't know if they still are.
