decided to check the air in my 12 month old Reba's , when I let the negative air out it was a bit light brown splattery oily - tried pumping up and releasing again - same.
once both positive and negaitve repressured fork is working fine and as normal.
Forget or off for service now ? I was going to get it serviced after the winter anyway

That's as it should be. That's lubrication oil, don't let it out!
That said, at 12 months a service is a good idea. A DIY lube service is easy and makes a marked difference.

cheers Peter - it was just a few drops that sprayed out when I depressed the valve to let all the neg air out before adjusting the positive
