Hi all. When I lift the rear of my full sus bike by the seat there is a little play/clunk before the rear wheel lifts, which didn't used to happen.I think this is a common wear and tear issue and something needs replacing, but can't find the culprit by feel. Where should I be looking/what's it likely to be?

Cheers

Shock bush/DU (reducer at eyelet).£15-20 per end.Measure the width (at linkage) and size of hole eg 22m x M8.

Thanks guys, I think I've heard about these before, they are designed to wear to avoid wearing the shock eyelet itself, IIRC.

Hopefully just the bush (pennies from local bearing shop) but often the fitting kit has worn in which case a 'strong bush' (got mine from TFtuned) is a worthwhile upgrade. A bush tool makes it a breeze, got mine from Kaesae of this parish, works a treat.
The bush joining the shock to the linkage is the one that wears fastest, and make sure to assemble bushes dry not lubed.
