rear shock stuck do...
 

[Closed] rear shock stuck down, any tips?

gonna have a go at fixing a mates rear shock which is stuck down, ive had a look at youtube vid where some guy does it and it goes off like a gun!!!
any tips before i take my head off with the air can?!!!

My LBS did it for me - unstuck the shock and performed a basic air sleeve lub. Only cost £15. Usually do a lot of maintenance myself but had heard unsticking a stuck shock can be dangerous so opted out.

Try tempting the shock with a bit of cheese? coax it back out?

all done in under 10mins, what a P.O.P to do, services will be done more regular now i know its that easy!!!

It'll keep happening unless you replace the seals. Seems only to be a problem in very cold weather though.
