I've got a trek slash with a 210x60mm RockShox Monarch Plus RC3 DebonAir that requires a fair amount of work on it. For the cost ive been quoted i can buy a brand new shock in the sale. But the downside is the closest i can find is a 216x63. Can anyone confirm if this will fit with minimal difference to bike handling and whether i will need to buy different mounting hardwear?

Is it one of the trunion mount shocks? If so, the 216x63 might not fit.

The shock on the 2018/19 Slash is a 230x57.5, it's a Trunion shock as well. A 230x60 will fit but you'll need all new mounting hardware.
What year is your Slash and I'll have a look when I get to work tomorrow.
