Hi all, this is going to be another one of those "What should I buy" type threads so... Sorry.
The Rockshox Monarch + RC3 on my Bird Aeris 1.5 has completely given up the ghost and after taking some advice from TF tuned I have decided to just replace it but something fairly cheap as I am not thinking of keeping the bike past the end of 2021. After doing some research I have narrowed the 2 options down to;
Manitou Mcleod with the King Can upgrade for around £230
SR Suntour TRIAIR 3CR Shock (which has a piggy back) for around £265
I am wondering if anyone has any experience with either? I want something cheap, reliable, easy to setup, that I can service myself over the next 18 months.
Any help is really appreciated.

The suntour is basically the monarch plus with a different name. The kingcan is just a bigger positive air chamber like an XV can. The Mcleod is user servicable and there is plenty of tunning info on the web too.
