[#2053189]

I was out in the rain yesterday and felt that the crud guard that I was using was not long enough.

Any solutions out there that look good? Aside for the obvious waterproof shorts!

Thanks

SC

Yup had this problem last year, I'd be interested in any replies, except this one of course which is dead boring.

I've never had a problem with my crud guards. I assume you are using the longer bracket, not the shorter one? If mine fits on a 23" Hardtail 29er i can't see how anybody else would struggle?

It fits fine but somehow doesn't seem long enough to deliver the protection it should.

Yes - using the longer bracket. Might have a bit more of a play tonight and try moving it further up the seatpost.

Problem solved. Hacked and old crud guard with scissors, drilled some holes. Bolted on extra length. Not pretty but mudguards look cr@p anyway!
