Normal Crud Raceguard isn't long enough - probably needs to be 3 or 4 inches longer to get same coverage as on a 26 inch bike. Ended up with cleanish shorts (well, everything is relative) but really filthy Camelbak yesterday.

Any ideas?

Ha! Now what you mean Stu_N!
Try a Topeak Defender M2. It has two pivots, one at the clamp end and one at the guard end, which allows you to run the guard low and long, giving more protection than a Raceguard.

Not many 29ers have canti mounts but if so then the Decathlon fender works a treat ๐Ÿ™‚

coastkid - i assume that is a front fender that just happens to fit the rear? Much bodging required to get it to fit?

The Zefal No-mud looks like a more flexible-fitting Decathlon guard, in that it doesn't need canti mounts.

I've not seen one in the flesh yet, so no idea of actual sizing/coverage.
