XT m8000 1x

As above sticks in first, anyone else had this and sorted it? Grease clutch??

Indexing is perfect, i've spray lubed the inner at the mech clamp but still does it.

Is the cassette/chain worn? Unlikely but the chain might be be jamming on the sprocket if bot hare worn badly and can't release off it.

B screw?

Might need winding in if it's too close to the cassette.

B screw would be my guess too. My xtr B screw seems to need a couple of turns every now and then

Take the chain off and see if the mech still sticks.
If it doesn't you've ruled out the mech itself.
B tension screw would be the next thing to try

shifter has been bumped and is pressing against the brake lever - took me ages to work that one out!

B tension screw sounds likely.
