Spring is tight, mech is as new but on descents it freely interfaces with the underneath of the swingarm.
What do I need to do tunewise?

Xt Rd761 from memory and a 09 Spesh Enduro.

They all do that, sir. Spesh used to supply a little pad to go on the mech to stop damage.

Ziptie a bit of old tube to the chainstay if it bothers you that much.

Have this on one of my bikes, assume it is also to do with the seatstay shape/position too as other bike is quiet. I used a little rubber band thing off an old XT mech to deaden the sound

Could also try a bit of helicopter tape on the frame to quieten it.

I'm planning on investing in the new clutch mech when it trickles down to SLX.
