So on my ride today my bike decides to have some fun with me, slipping gears up and down for fun.
Low and high gears are ok but the middle 3 or 4 cogs are affected.
My first thought is that the hi/lo screws need adjusting but I've just noticed a couple of teeth seem higher than the others and slope backwards - is that normal?
I have a pic but can't post it here grrr.

Thoughts please

Why would you think that? They make absolutely zero difference to anything other than where the mech stops at the top and bottom of the cassette.

Pic now in classifieds under heading Focus Cassette if anyone cares to take a look.

Thanks Simon for your input.

Interesting use of the Classifieds section...

Those teeth are manufactured like that to assist in shifting.

Most likely issue would be mech hanger alignment.

Teeth are different shapes to aid shifting but there does look to be a reasonable amount of wear in the middle of the cassette. Mech hanger alignment is always one to look at though.

I had this issue once with a 9sp cassette, if nothing is bent or loose, the cogs aren't digging into the freehub and the cables are nice and smooth, a couple of twists on the barrel adjuster fixed it for me.
