One of the pivot pins in my old XT mech fell out at the weekend. I managed a very cunning bodge for the rest of the ride with a small M3 bolt and some super glue, but it's not very permanent. The pin goes into a blind hole, and the end is then mashed to hold it in place.
Anyone else fixed something like this? I was thinking of drilling out the blind hole so I can fix a nut on the end of the bolt.
