As title, has anyone used the lights that also project two laser lines on the road behind you. Are they worth a go?

There was a thread about them a few years ago*. Apparently the lines aren't all that visible to the approaching motorist.

*Or maybe not quite that long, I'm not sure...

Thanks, I'll have a search for the thread.

I went passed a bike with these on last night (lines were set-up along side the bike not behind). Looked rubbish! Not visible until up close even though I was higher up on a bike and not that bright. Also were obscured by the riders legs every time he pedalled!

My mate has one of these. It is rubbish.

The lines are not that visible and you can get better rear lights for the money.

If it's one of the £3 disk shaped ones, yeah the lasers are a gimmick really and dont do much good, especialy under street light you can hardly see them.

That said the (5)LED lamp itself is not at all bad for the price of the light.
