hi
I have a problem squeal on my rear disc, recently i had my rear caliper
changed and new pads on a 160mm disc only to find a howling noise i looked
closer on to find they had fitted a 180mm mount so i replaced that myself.
Now when i brake i get a squeal but only when the brake is 90% applied i have
removed the rotor and it is not twisted and the wheel is balanced perfect
i am at a lost as what it could be ,i have ordered new pads to double check .
Any ideals as feel like throwing it in river
cheers

Have you degreased/lightly sanded the disc?
Yeah lost count of the times I've cleaned them I might just buy a new rotor and then I've replaced everything so I will have to live with it ahhh
Did the new rear caliper go on perfectly straight?
Are the bolts tight enough?
Does it use those conic washers?
Anything that lets the caliper move out of plane with the disc can give you noise. Or shit braking.
