Hi guys what is the best way to lose/hide these on an old Kona steel frame? Thanks .

If you go onto www.retrobike.co.uk you'll find a load of people have done just that. Check out http://www.retrobike.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=183412 for a really good example.
Either a hacksaw/file approach or a Dremel seems to be the best approach.

I had them taken off my P7 with a blowtorch by a framebuilder , the paint was knackered but it was in for a respray at the same time .

If they're welded to a frame then a Dremel and a respray is your friend.
