Ive seen a few around Weymouth harbour but this looks like it was designed to hurt cyclists. Not very pleasant viewing.

At least following the research the crossing was redesigned.

You don't need to be at much of an angle to come a cropper. I speak from experience having found myself sliding down the A835 on my arse when I thought I'd hit it right!

Currently fed up with a broken collarbone after having a disagreement with the Metrolink tracks in Manchester.

MrsDTS went over outside M shed in Bristol, she had miniDTS on the back too..
All well, but shocked.
Woman saw fit to come up and have a pop at her for ignoring the signs, which to be honest weren't that obvious.
More have now been fitted..
My dads mate ended up in the dock in the same place.
Holding his bike in one hand and a chain in the other.

Tram tracks on Princess Street in Edinburgh are very bad if coming down Lothian Road. A fair few been caught out there. There's one really bad one somewhere on the North Coast 500 route which loads have come a cropper on.

Edit: it's In Garve on NC500. Its the A835 and I see someone else above has found it too!

I don't think the M-Shed example qualifies - loads of signage, typical speed with all the pedestrians about is barely above walking pace, decent angle across the rail at the crossing.

There are signs on the Garve LC telling cyclists to walk across.

Yes, but they're not aimed at the likes of me are they?

That video is mental - not only do the tracks seem designed to make cyclists crash it also seems designed to throw them onto the carriageway so they can get hit by cars.

I've come a cropper on West street in Sheffield (a the top near the University, near the Caverndish). No damage, but it hurts like hell, I think because it's low speed you don't bounce/roll/slide which hurts more than normal!

There are signs on the Garve LC telling cyclists to walk across.

Problem is there as signs EVERYWHERE telling cyclists to get off and walk.
