Hi, I'm currently wearing a either a Rapha or Quechua lightweight merino base and a goretex active shell (sweet protection). I'm finding that my core is getting pretty chilly when the base gets some dampness to it. I tried an old Berghaus fleece this morning and got too hot pretty much straight away. I have a heavier merino I could layer up with, but thinking a lightweight fleece might be good. Anyone using one that's particularly good for xc rides really.
