Hi everyone,
just got a brand new set of wheels with novatec hubs - the rear hub is 'sticky' and drags when coasting - i was advised that this is because the new seals are new and they need bedding in?
is this true? or is there perhaps a more fundamental problem?
If i run them in - then they become 'used'....
Cheers

Usually when this happens it's when folk have serviced a hub and not used enough or the proper type of grease, or not seated a seal properly.
IMO it may "bed-in" but it should work properly from new, I'd send it back to get sorted, return it, or get written confirmation that they'll replace/refund if it doesn't sort itself out.
