I want to get a tandem retro frame shotblasted/re-painted, where is a good place to get this done? What price also?

Or is it easy to do yourself?

Local powder coaters is a fair bet, will be cheaper and tougher than a frame shop but not quite as nice a finish in most cases.

If you're not bothered about a really specific colour then powder coating is the way to go. Get it done at a paint shop and you can get any colour you want, many powder coaters do have limited colour choices.

I've just got a frame back from a local powdercoaters - finish is really good & although they only had the standard "alloy wheel refurb palette" in stock, they offered to wet paint then clear powder over that for durability if I wanted a specific colour.

If the powder coater doesn't do many bikes, make sure that they know to mask/plug the head tube, seat tube, and BB shell so that you aren't stuck removing a thick layer of powdercoat!
