Have a 2007 (I think) Spider XVP, which I have recently noticed has a slightly bent rear triangle where it meets the top pivot. Having seen the Orange video, showing them aligning the rear triangle in the factory, it looks like you just bend it back! Given that the frame is quite old, I don't mind too much getting a new bike, should I do the same and try to bend it into position? Will it cause any weakness in the aluminium?
Thanks

I'm guessing the Orange was a steel frame (P7 or the like). Which you can get away with doing (one of the advantages of steel).

If you do that with an alu frame it is liable to explode underneath you.

The orange frame is Alu but the alignment (banging it with a big hammer and teasing it with a pry bar) is done pre heat treatment after which the alu becomes more britle.

A degree of frame alignment should be possible but if it is way out then be aware you could damage the frame beyond repair.
