[#6202595]

Fitted some new pads, front and rear, Formula RX calipers.

Fitted fine, had to bleed front a smidgen to get them in, but no problems there. Now, the bike though has a horrific rattle. Which due to the fact it goes away if I drag the brakes, I'm pretty sure it's the pads rattling about ..

Is this common ? Pads are from Uberbike if that makes any difference

Thanks in advance.

Oi Weeksy. My pads rattled a bit from uberbike on my Deores. Stick a bit of duct tape on the back and the rattle is gone !

Thanks guys, just wanted to know if it was more common. I think I've still got a spring from my old Superstar pads, so I may swap it out first.

I always get this with new superstar pads, just bend the 4 little arms on the spring out so they go bow-legged ๐Ÿ˜€

Taped up the caliper tonight, pure silence. Joy is me.

Will work on a proper solution tomorrow.

Thanks all.
