Where does that put me on the scale of things?
Not trying that hard at 140bpm?
What were you sat on to do this?
How much fun did you have?
Don't know but if you want to compare yourself to my training session last night

Better than having not done it.

@mikewsmith, could have sprinted but 140 felt comfy, I've no idea what any of those numbers mean.
@rusty spanner, more fun than sitting at work
@rubber_buccaneer, looks like a much slower & easier pace to me.

Oh, and just for clarification, im definitely a lard arse.
I’ve no idea what any of those numbers mean.
HR = BPM
Watts = Power
Apart from that they are the same as yours.
Bike:
132 bpm av, 165 bpm max
62 rpm av, 111 rpm max

Run:

37 years old, not fat. Conclusion, I don't try hard enough on my bike and neither does the OP.
@mikewsmith, I know what they are but don't know what they mean.
i.e. do they mean I need to try harder but can still eat cake or do I have to give up cake too?
based on a normal person who does normal rides once a week, not some xc marathon whippet.
All completely meaningless :o)
I had more fun. Ergo, I win.

This and some.
I had more fun. Ergo, I win.
I don't agree. My ride was my first proper ride outdoors all year, it was on my fast bike and I was grinning like a loon most of the way round.
My run was one of those that you just feel like you can run all day, legs feel amazing, sun shines, feel light on your feet and get back grinning.
So no, I definitely had more fun and therefore, I win.

Means nothing 🙂 but these are my stats
I always seem to set off with the intention of pacing myself then go out to ahrd and blow up. Latest road ride
HR Av 163
Max HR 185
Distance 53 miles
Time 3 hrs 26 mins
Av speed fairly slow, used to be faster but the child No. 1 arrived.

We need evidence....
No idea but yesterday I did 27 miles on the HT at an average speed of 10.8mph in 2hrs 32 mins.
I'm 'nearly' 62 & could do with losing about 3 stone.
(& it was soft going in a couple of places)
keep trying to reply but this forum is such a shonky pile of shit it's taken me 4 attempts.
Seems I'm basically I'm lower average of anyone who comes on here fitness wise but not totally out of shape after my year off.
On the rollers today.
44.47 min ride
av 19.7mph
max hr 156bpm
av hr 125bpm
looks lazy I know but even gurning up a climb on a singlespeed about to throw up I don’t think I’ve managed above 165.
Where did the quotes come from?

You are back on rung one of the ladder. What were you expecting?
Edit: it's impossible to really come to any conclusions based on the figures you've quoted, but unless you have some sort of special, magic physiology, you'll have lost a bunch of fitness.
How many Stellas did you down after finishing your ride before you felt like you've had enough? Usually in the past I've been at 3 but more and more these days it's more like 4.
My watts per Stella is only bested by my watts per Summer Lightning.
My last workout ride to give an idea of reasonable fitness (This was on Zwift so as with everything take numbers witha pinch of salt)

OP your numbers put you at recreational cyclist fitness. Your average cadence is the most encouraging number. HR for speed on smooth flat road with no wind is a good measure. Zwift basically does this. For me, 120 bpm is about 26-28 km/hr.
Last night:
165 bpm average, 97 rpm average, 23:45 minutes, 16.5 km, 42 km/hr
Recovery ride into work on the trike this morning:
117 bpm average, 91 rpm average, 61 minutes, 16.5 km, 21.5 km/hr
I'm 50.
Looking at data is too much like the sort of thing you do at work and certainly not in the spirit of getting away from it all. My mate uses strava and is always looking at how fast this bit was etc..... I hate it and keep having to remind him that I just don't care. Saying things like "looks like we rode for just over 3hrs" is as close as I get.
Unless you are a pro rider of course, but then thats back to being at work.
