Fed up with scraping pounds of mud off the HT after every ride, so with the local trails still claggy I dragged the slick-shod rigid SS out of semi-retirement for a mixed surface (tarmac/dirt road/gravel) ride this afternoon.

A windy 65km at a 20kmh average - as I'm no racing snake and don't usually ride longer than 35km I'm pretty chuffed with that.

Still a bit damp in places though.

I put in about 35 miles on my SS on Saturday, I felt quite fresh afterwards too. Maybe the shock on the Pitch dropping its oil wasn't such a bad thing really!

My go for a long SS ride again soon, really getting into it!

that's a lovely lookin SS, a boy really should play with a stiff front in the wilderness on a regular basis as it's good for the soul.
