Spotted a special 531-tubed new retro edition Raleigh in a shop dripping in Tiagra.
Price?
TWO GRAND. Wow. Gobsmacked.
Sounds nearly as bad as that orange road bike from last year. Dripping in orange logos and cheap kit. It was about £2k as well. Not surprisingly it sold out very quickly. Talk about brand loyalty!
A bike like that need proper retro Campag on it.
It's a Reynolds 525 frame with Campag throughout and is lovely !
Pricey though!!!

not sure where you get 531 and tiagra from?
Some of the new higher end ralieghs look great, very tempted as my next road bike, some of it for history some of it just for the name, and a little bit for the bike 🙂

Wiggle had the top Dura-Ace version down from £4k to about £2200 a few months ago. Looked great, someone got a real bargain I think!
