Quick questions if anyone can help! Im about to buy some forks and not sure if tapered steerer will fit my pig? Also, the fork steerer is 195mm, is this long enough for my 18" frame?

Any help would be appreciated.

Many thanks!

Is it a Mk1 or a Mk2 or 3?

Your steerer length is going to be fine - I have an 18" and my steerer is 210mm but I have 25mm of spacers under the stem.

However you can only fit a tapered steerer in the current & previous version with the 44mm headtube (external 1.5" lower cup required)as the first versions only had a smaller headtube and therefore not compatible with tapered steerers.

Hence BillOddies question above.

you will need a new headset or at least a new crown race dependent on what headset you have now.

As noted above (assuming current 2013 version is Mk 3) and according to this, the MK 2 IS the one with a 44mm headtube

So with the correct lower headset , WILL take a tapered steerer 🙂

If your current headset is ok, you could just replace the lower cup with a hope pick & mix 'H' cup for about £28. Cheaper than a full headset!
