I bought one, probably after starting the thread you saw

Seems fine but haven't ridden much yet (still mudplugging on the SS 'til "summer" starts)

I did have to fanny about spacing out the chainring with some washers but I think that was the fault of my chainring/crankset choices rather than a problem with the grannyguide

Yes I've got 2.

They're very good; I fitted one to my DH with an e13 DRS (essentially a stinger) chain device & raced it at the Forest of Dean over winter. I didn't have one chain off or issue of any type. The only downside is the 32 teeth chainring limit. Having said that, I reckon a 34 would work fine too, but I don't have one to try.

My 2nd one is now surplus to requirements - it's actually never been used if you fancy trying one below retail price - £15 posted?
