Hi

New bike came with Racing Ralphs on Stans rims. So I'll convert to tubeless I thought. Looking at the tyres though there's no Tubeless Ready badge/symbol on the sidewall like there is on the other Schwalbe tyres that I have on other bikes.

Is it possible that OEM supplied tyres aren't tubeless ready?

If they are performance (not evo) then they are'nt tubeless ready. That's not to say they won't go up tubeless but they are'nt rated for tubeless use.

I have some Racing Ralphs I bought cheap from On-One. Kevlar bead, no mention of tubeless ready, silly looking stripe around the tyre. I have them on Stans rims running tubeless no problem. They were one of the most porous tyres I've fitted but the sealant did it's job.

Ok cheers. Can't be bothered with porous tyres that take a while to stay up properly so I'll just get some "proper" tubeless tyres.
