Got hit by a truck while out training in California

Hope it doesnt affect her season too much. Out of sea otter i guess.

Wouldnt want to be that pickup truck driver, knocking a girl over whos out riding with her two brothers.

She's a Brit so mibbie she swerved the wrong way instinctively - it happened in the US.

I find road riding several steps above mountain biking in terms of danger.
Glad this isn't much worse and wish her a speedy recovery.

no helmet head down listening to music, I'm glad she is not more injured or even worse dead as that poor driver would have had it on there conscience when it is clearly her fault, and her brother would have to watch this. I agree we with the sticking to mountain biking bit, seems sensible.
