Went for an early ride this morning, got the bike out the car and the seat post wouldn’t lock in any position, tried releasing all the tension of the remote, that didn’t help so I gave up and went home, now it’s absolutely fine, I think I’ve heard somewhere that there not very good in the cold, anyone had any experience with this?

There a know issue with them below about 2 or 3 degrees - and especially in minus Temps. my Easton post slipped repeatedly in low temperature. It's why lots of retailers had them on huge discounts over the last year.

Apparently it's a manufacturer tolerance issue compared to the 9point8 that they are based on.

Is there anything that can be done about? Or should I just buy a different post, it’s annoying to think I can’t use it if it’s cold!
