i have just had raceface deus xc chainset installed. does anyone know of a plug or cap that would go in the non drive side crank to avoid getting muck in it, cheers.

I've never seen one, it's no more a crap collector than any other holowtech design (i.e. not much gets in there and it washes out)

I ride with one and have never noticed it filling up with crap. Now you mention it I will have to have a look.

I think he means because there is a thread there.
My mate had an RF on his Anthem, it came with a plug.

Shimano don't provide their H2 cranks with plugs

I'm guessing that during normal operation about 50% of the time the answer is - your leg
Had one for nearly 5 years never noticed any crap getting in never paid any special attention to cleaning it
Leave it open, anything that gets in like water that may still get past a plug can then get out

Ooh never though it might get filled with stuff. Glad to hear others havent had issues. Does anyone find them rather wide on the chainring side? I keep bashing my ankle but maybe it's just my wonky legs
