Won some Raceface Chester cranks off ebay which are for a 68/73mm bottom bracket. I took off my old saint cranks which i was running with a hope BB when I fit the Raceface cranks they are too long for my BB. I have never run Raceface cranks so do I need a special bottom bracket with wider bearings?

looks like they are for a 100m BB
Its not a compatibility issue its a you've been either mis sold or you never read the listing.
Which is it?
They don't look like they are for a 68/73 bb
They look too big for even 83mm.
Looks to me like a 100mm fatbike crank.
Listing said they were for 68/73mm BB with a 110mm splindle. The listing also said they came a 36 tooth narrow wide ring. But the ring is just a standard one. not bothered about the ring really annoyed about the cranks.

when I measure the axle it comes out at 130mm. I assume his measurement did not include the splines.
110mm splindle.
Fatbike crank.
How do the crank axles compare in length. Race face to Saint
Fatbike crank.
I had assumed the 110mm included the splines at the end and had not really paid attention to that bit. No where in the listing does it say fat bike crank.
Not sure if this link will work as the listing is finished:

not really paid attention
There's your answer.
Just re sell them as fatbike cranks. You might even get more for them if they're listed correctly. ๐
someone in classifieds is wanting 100mm fatbike cranks
really paid attention
I agree stu the listing is definitely wrong so I have started a return request ๐
