evening all.
I'd like to replace the bearings on my rf signature xs isis bb. Before i order new ones i'd like to make sure i can get the old ones off. Anybody know how to do this without the proper tool? whatever that is.. (its only available via a raceface dealer, and nowhere on the web)

my guess is clamp at (1) in a vice, and bash (2). possibly i should clamp at (3) first?
i don't (yet) have a vice so haven't tried, but if required i can borrow/get one.
am i on the right track?

Give Silverfish a bell. They changed mine a while back and it really wasn't that expensive. I do pretty much everything on my own bikes but sometimes, you just have to get the right people with the right tool to take over.
