I am trying to take my race face evolve chain set off the bike to have a look at the bearings
Tried to look on the race face web site but that just locks my pc up
Only got to the stage of getting the allen bolt off on the drive side and thats it
Look like something need a good smack with a punch and a hammer now but thought I would ask before I could make a school boy error
Any idea ???

ps, its a 2009 chainset
Leave the allen bolt in that takes a 10mm allen key, and insert a 8mm allen key into the one inside that and turn it in the normal undoing direction (to the left me thinks).
Rings et crank arm should come off easily, then give the spindle a gentle smack with a soft mallet and the spindle/axel will pop out of the BB on the no drive side.

Just been looking around and looks like i need one of these allen bots like you talk about with a 10mm and a 8mm
Mine is the one that came on the bike and just has the 10mm only
will see if the LBS has one in the morning
