Just going to try my hand at ghetto tubeless...
I am wanting to try it on some cross tyres as well, obviously they are 700C so what size inner tube would you use, is 24 inch small enough?
Also anybody tried with that size tyre? Has it worked OK?

24" is spot on for 700c/29er conversion, it's what I used to convert my 29er tyres to tubeless.
Not sure how easy it might be to convert a CX tyre though, worth giving it a try perhaps but it might be a bloody tight fit to get on in the first place... Should seal ok though.
