I'm about to order some Hope hoops with Arch EX 29er rims.
Price different is negligible so J-Bend or straight pull spokes and why?

Straight pull are hard to get spares for, a pain to work with and offer no discernible advantages.
And it's a straw poll. A straw pole would be shit.

J bend, every time now. Having written off a weeks riding holiday on day two by breaking a straight pull spoke and having to special order spares or replace the wheel I'd never go straight pull again.
