Whats the difference between the RL and RLT models?

Not seen anything of note on the SRAM website ๐Ÿ˜•

Both supposedly 1625g ish, both have motion control, lock out etc

Just wondering thats all .....

Any help as always is much appreciated ๐Ÿ™‚

I don't think so as the Ti bits come with the blackbox damping cartridge ๐Ÿ˜•

T = threshold adjustment.

What used to be known as the 'floodgate' adjustment.

You still get the adjustment on the RL model, you just need to use an allen key, rather than an external dial.

Yeap your correct, sorry.

Its the external adjustment on the flood gate. RL is internal tooled, RLT has external adjustment.

Edit: to slow!

Ahhh.

So in theory they both have the same adjustment properties just one needs an allen key the other is external.

I think I have that right!

Cheers chaps.

Correctamundo

The RL is the same as the old "SL" (or 409 for Pikes and Revelations) was

The RLT is the same as the old "Race" (or 426 for Pikes and Revelations) was.

The RLT Ti is a new model on top, with the Ti black box damper internals, for improved compression damping.
