Death by dangerous cycling law similar to if you were driving a car. So that will be a slap on the wrist then.

Pointed out to someone the other day that if cyclists have to pay "road tax" (their words) they can hardly complain if they get held up by bikes.ย  Same person routinely stops in the ASL at red lights and was even less impressed when I pointed out that technically they're running a red light every time they do this.

Stupidity seems to be a prerequisite for the 'cars good bicycles bad' camp.

This would be their resident pied-prick of phone in cobblers Jeremy Vine I assume?

I don't tend to deliberately listen to R2 I don't drive a Mondeo (yet) and I'm not too fussed about missing the constant loop of Dad rock and Katie Melua...

Let them have their little echo-boxes, it doesn't really matter a jot, recycled opinions regurgitated back to the same people is just how you keep the narrative ticking over and stop them engaging in any real thought on the topic... At least it's a break from Brexit.

Death by dangerous cycling, lol. How many times does anybody get convicted of dangerous driving? It's usually the reduced to the ridiculous careless driving. If you're careless, it's pretty much dangerous.

Did anyone see the tweet from @Conservatives last night announcing a consultation regarding "Dangerous Cycling"? It was deleted not long after it was posted.

Vine is apparently a cyclist as well. Is he going for the reverse psychology thing by continuing to have these arguments or is it just for ratings??

That was the start of the phone in oldman. Cue the usual lets have a talk with a cycling UK person and loads of anti-cyclists on the phone!
