Sorry but I don't have time to research properly before lunch and need some answers for then BUT…

Anyone know the weight allowance for bikes and kit (and penalties)?
How much for bike each way?
Last time I went to the Alps, my bike suffered handler damage…does it still happen (often or isolated)?

Thanks folks!

On easyjet site Paying for a 20kg hold bag plus bike gives 52kg in total but no one bag can weight more than 32kg

Depends if you pack it better second time round.

Thanks

I've looked elsewhere and on this forum but can't find latest costs.
So I can take a 20kg bag (useful) and a bike (quite useful for a biking trip) that weighs no more than 32kg, but can't see what that costs each way (max 52kg).
I have flight costs but that could be doubled if I want to take someone other than myself on the plane.
I am possibly being a muppet - can someone post a link to where it says categorically how much that will cost? I will be eternally grateful 8)

I've just booked my flights for Spain later in the year with easyjet

Now costs £70 for a bike rtn!! Was about £25 when I first started going

I take hand luggage and put riding shoes/ helmet etc in the bike bag

MM - presumably you're taking a luggage bag too - how much for that?
So £70 plus that cost (on top of flight).
Blimey - I'm sure when I went in 2004 (a while ago) we paid less than £100 return with bikes and bag.
Still way cheaper than hiring out there though...
