i've got a £10 cree tesco torch i use as a head spot light
if i run rechargables its about half as bright as standard batts - why? (even if i run 3 in series (3.6v)
is there any way to up brightness with rechargeables? (like wire in more?!)
if i run my 7.2v tamiya race pack its bloody bright but will it burn out?
cheers

standard batts = 1.5 volts rechargeable = 1.2 hence difference in brightness I assume
Possibly also power in each battery - amps and rat eof discharge - can get less of the power output of rechargable quickly
they arnt new rechargables but if i add more to the mix there doesnt seem to be the extra brightness i`d expect.
the thing is it might not be as simple as more batts = more light but i dont know about these things.
someone must know of these things.

wrong for nickel technologies
