If i fill up a Monarch Debonair with volume spacers (bands), is it basically the same as a non-debonair model? Or are there other differences?

The opposite is true. The more bands you add the bigger the negative becomes in relation to the positive, so the debonair bit is increasing in effect. However the adding of bands does make the positive side more like a standard can as it ramps up more, but with 3 different can versions of the non-standard monarch who is to say which one it should be like 😉
