Heading off to the Quantocks tomorrow, weather forecast awesome. Was going to re-do a previous route: Frog, Stert/ Somerton, Smiths and Weacombe. I've ridden for several years in the Q, know what I like (and it's not the Chinmey!!), but I've picked up through STW that Slaughterhouse is worth a go.... what's the way in?

past the entrance to stert on the main ridge,(heading north)over next brow and down to lowsey thorn, as you climb slightly, look to your right for a ribbon of trail heading north east, follow this and go right at the t junction.

Thanks all the posts, especially knottie8 for the map. Combined Slaughterhouse with Frog, Somerton and Weacombe for an excellent couple of hours in the saddle, weather awesome, ground relatively dry. Someone was smiling on me, right up until I hit those baby's heads too fast and went over the front!
