Hi all
I need your help please. I’ve got front and rear QR thru axles and I can’t get the qr lever to tighten. No matter how much I screw the axle in, the lever cam won’t tighten. What am I doing wrong? It’s on a Scott Big Jon - Can’t upload a photo but here’s a link, thanks
Does the QR lever actually tighten the axle into the frame at all (like a QR10), or is it essentially just a handle?
If it's the second one, sometimes they have a small hex headed bolt inside the cam you can turn to adjust the floppiness of the QR leaver.
usually these things screw in then the lever locks them - as above - a small allen bolt is usually present to adjust the locking mechanism
Doh! Thanks both - yes you’re correct - I just found it. I must have loosened it somehow. Allen bolt now tightened and all happy again!
Feeling a bit dumb..., lol!
