[#11093298]

I want some robust QR skewers for my commuter. I commute all year round and as such they get a beating.

They rust quickly where you open and close them, despite cleaning and lubing and covering them in grease etc.

Any suggestions?

Shimano, shimano or shimano.

All others pale in comparison

(well OK, I think DT and Campag ate similarly good, just haven't tried either myself)

Shimano just work. I've also got some halo porkies, I only use the rear one nowadays but it must be 12 years old and has been on about 5 different bikes. Its great.
