[Closed] QR skewer - pre-set nut??

Random one -

Can anyone ever remember seeing these in the early 90's?

They were the end nut for the QR skewer that had a grub screw in the end that you could screw in to "pre-set" the tension on the QR skewer.

Can't seem to find anything remotely similar on Google though.

I'm looking for them as I've just picked up a new disc road bike and remembering the pre-maxle/thu-alxe MTB disc days of fiddling with the skewer tension to stop rubbing!

First-world problem really -

Failing that - anyone know the thread size of a QR skewer as might be able to do a home-brew version.........
